Guilin Medical University has always been giving much attention and priority to scientific research. During the “tenth-five-year” period, our college undertook 314 projects of various types, including 4 items of national natural science fund, 196 provincial projects, participating in one national project ---“863” project. Among all the projects, 12 of them were awarded scientific research achievements of above provincial grade, 1 project for teaching achievements of national grade, 7 projects for teaching achievements of provincial grade.
There were 24 academic monographs published, 2453 thesis put out, among which there were 17 thesis included in SCI. ACTA MEDICINAE SINICA belongs to the original journal of comprehensive assessment database collection of China academic journal, the online journal of National Knowledge Infrastructure and Wan Fang Data, and is also included in American chemical digest. It is science and technological journal of excellence of Guangxi. Our university library is the unit of Searching for the New Information of medicine and hygiene and biotechnology authorized by Guangxi Science and Technology Office.
