Guilin Medical University has always been focusing on the strategic development of our facilities including practicing bases in and out of the campus.While we are working towards perfecting the facilities inside the campus, we also take full advantage of our fine-quality education resources available in the city of Guilin both to constantly improve overall quality of teaching and to further enhance the image and reputation of our campus.At present, we have one affiliated hospital, four locally-affiliated hospitals, 3,649 authorized beds (in another terms, bed per student is 1.06). To date, we have established many up-to-date and qualified clinical practicing bases for our students to benefit from.

Now there are twenty one clinic-teaching hospitals. The teaching facility is fully developed to ensure the success in the clinical teaching and practice. Four teaching bases for preventive medical teaching are now available within the city of Guilin. Among them, we have teaching facility for pharmacy and bio-technology in colleges and institutes, well-developed pharmaceutical companies, departments of health and medicine supervision, etc, inside and outside Guangxi. The development of intern practicing base inside and outside the campus is now able to meet the growing needs for the teaching and practices according to the principle: To educate different students with different and specific ways.
